The town and civic church of Ipswich, offering worship in the high choral Anglican tradition (Common Worship and Book of Common Prayer), serving the town centre of Ipswich, and promoting regular classical concerts.
We have an excellent choir and, as well as a well attended, modern, choral Parish Communion service with Sunday School, we offer both Choral Matins (as a sung office) and Choral Evensong (with sermon) every Sunday.
Along with our formal styles of worship, we aim to offer a progressive vision of Christian faith which is rooted in Anglican tradition and love of holy scripture, is firmly outward looking, and is faithful to the teaching, example and life of Jesus Christ.
After the 10.30am Parish Communion refreshments are served in church and many of the congregation stay to enjoy the fellowship. There are a number of house groups with a variety of styles, that meet during the week on a monthly basis for learning and encouragement.
A regular feature of church life is the programme of weekly Tuesday Lunchtime concerts. These regularly attract audiences of more than a hundred and run from May to December.
