Together with Fairshare and other churches across the town, Ipswich Minster is part of Ipswich Top Up Shops. All are welcome – no referral needed.

Our Top Up Shop and Free Community Café is open every Wednesday between 9am-10am. Pay £2 and fill a bag with all the things you need. To help us be more sustainable, please bring your own bag.

During this time, members of our Clergy Team will be on hand for pastoral support or spiritual guidance.

The Chosen is a ground-breaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus Christ, seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings.

We shall be watching the first season together at the Minster, enjoying pizza and soft drinks together afterwards whilst discussing the episode we've seen.

Heritage Weekend Open Day - Saturday 12th September 2026

Heritage Open Days is England’s largest festival of history and culture. We are thrilled to be taking part again this year.
On Saturday 12th September, Ipswich Minster will be open to all from 10am to 4pm.
Activities include: Guided tours of the Minster, Bellringing for Beginners, Small Sounds Music Taster session (0-5years), Mini Minster Maestros Taster Session (5-8 years) , Children’s Crafts and Café.

Members of our clergy team will be available for any questions about faith
