Together with Fairshare and other churches across the town, Ipswich Minster is part of Ipswich Top Up Shops. All are welcome – no referral needed.

Our Top Up Shop and Free Community Café is open every Wednesday between 9am-10am. Pay £2 and fill a bag with all the things you need. To help us be more sustainable, please bring your own bag.

During this time, members of our Clergy Team will be on hand for pastoral support or spiritual guidance.

A short midweek service of Holy Communion according to the Book of Common Prayer, with a short sermon. Refreshments served after the service.

The Chosen is a ground-breaking historical drama based on the life of Jesus Christ, seen through the eyes of those who knew him. Set against the backdrop of Roman oppression in first-century Israel, the show shares an authentic and intimate look at Jesus’ revolutionary life and teachings.

We shall be watching the first season together at the Minster, enjoying pizza and soft drinks together afterwards whilst discussing the episode we've seen.

Brick Church is a new way to worship, learning about the Bible and faith through play and creativity. It is an accessible act of worship centred around Lego-style building bricks and will include lots of time to play and create, including Bible reading and reflection including time to talk about everyone’s creations, prayers and music. Refreshments will be available throughout.

Brick Church takes place on the first Saturday of the month starting Saturday 3rd October 2026 at 10:30am. Sessions will take place in Church House behind the main church building and accessed either through the Churchyard or via Oak Lane.

All are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an appropriate adult.

Traditional quiet Communion Service with Sermon.

Traditional choral service offered as a sung office.

Biggest service of the week. Formal but relaxed. A traditional sung communion service using contemporary language with a full choir. Children and families welcome. Refreshments after the service. This service is live streamed on our You Tube Channel.

Over the past 15 years, our Christmas Tree Festival has marked for many in Ipswich the beginning of the Christmas period and this year we are back bigger than ever.

The Festival will be open to the people of Ipswich and beyond from Friday 27th November to Sunday 6th December this year. Entry is free. There will be a pop up café and children’s activities, available on most days.

There will also be a Christingle Service, Lunchtime Concert, Children’s School Concert and a Carol Service.
