Our Parish Communion is open to all every Sunday.
We follow the Church of England lectionary marking the church seasons through our liturgy which is from Common Worship.

We will be celebrating the Blessed Virgin Mary through our Parish Communion service. This is a service of worship with hymns, readings and prayers and invites everyone to join in.
The church doors will be opened at 9.30am to allow people time to get seated before the service and time for private prayer and reflection before the service.

This memorial service marks the 86th anniversary of the decisive aerial battle in 1940, honouring the aircrews of the Royal Air Force and allied nations.
The service will feature hymns, readings, and poems paying respect to ‘The Few’.

Organised by three local passionate and professional early music specialists, Heidi Fardell, Dylan McCaig and Alison Kinder, Banbury Early Music Festival is for early music fans and newcomers alike.
Come and participate in inspiring workshops, listen to world-class concerts, leaf through a myriad of music and try out early ​instruments to your heart's content!

The service will consist of readings, hymns and prayers read by leading representatives of both St Mary’s Church and local military organisations in honour of those who have lost their lives to war.
The Remembrance Sunday event will include a parade commencing at 10.15am from the Town Hall to St Mary’s Church, a church service at 10.45am and a wreath laying ceremony at 12noon in People’s Park.

Each night around 20 choirs from local primary schools will sing songs from around the world.
About 180 children will sing and following individual performances by each school, they join together to form a massed choir for the finale.
The funds raised are donated to both local and international children’s charities.

We have around 30 stalls selling handmade gifts created by crafters, both local and from further afield.
Also included is an adult’s and children’s tombola, together with a Grand Draw Raffle with a first prize of a Christmas Hamper worth £100.
We are very pleased to welcome many visitors into the church free of charge. We also serve hot drinks and homemade cakes at a reasonable price, to make the experience even more enjoyable.

For many of our community, this is an important moment in the year; a chance to come together with others and remember those we have lost.
We will follow a similar programme to last year featuring special music, poems and reflections from members of staff at the hospice.
This event is open to those of all faiths and none.
The event will start at 7.00pm at Banbury Cross, for the traditional switching on of the Christmas Tree lights, followed by the main event at 7.15pm at St Mary’s Church. We expect the event to finish by 8.30pm.

Lumos Live has partnered with St Mary's Church to deliver a String Trio concert experience that will be nothing short of magical.
Full bar facilities will be available prior to the concert.
