St Edmund's, Hargrave Church

Hargrave Church is a place of worship, refuge, reflection and joy at the centre of village community for over 1,000 years. We work to build our village community with events and services - check out the 'Services and Events' tab

You can donate in support of Ukraine by scanning the QR code top left. Community Pantry with free food etc is in the Church

Isolation in a rural village like Hargrave is hidden. We have no pub or shop, most people in work go to work elsewhere, children go to different schools and there is no means of getting about if you can’t drive. How do you meet your neighbours? How do you make friends with others in the village? Restoring the church has been a journey for all of us which brings us together, whether we have faith or none

We give thanks for our restoration so far, and we remember who helped. We pray to strengthen our faith and resolve to face future challenges by bringing Hargrave together around this modest, but thousand-year-old, church of St Edmund
