A small but active rural parish with a population of 150, Denham has retained its identity and community spirit. The Church of St John (recorded in the Domesday Book as a church with 12 acres), holds two services each month – a Family Service and a weekday evening Holy Communion. Wide-scale community support and a grant by English Heritage enabled restoration to be carried out resulting in an all-round improvement. Six misericorde seats can be found in the choir stalls.
