At St. Nicholas we have a FAB team.  It stands for Flowers and Brass.  The team meet together once a year to arrange a rota for cleaning the arranging the flowers and polishing the brass for the following year.  The aim is to gather 25 people on the flower rota and 25 people on the brass rota.  This means that you only have to arrange the flowers or polish the brass for a fortnight a year on the weeks of your choice to arrange the flowers one week and titivate them for the second week or polish the brass for the first week and huff and puff on it for week 2.  

When we find we have more than 50 volunteers then we work in pairs.  For major Church Festivals - Easter, Harvest, Christmas, Patronal Festival - everyone gathers at St. Nicholas for hot cross buns, mince pies and tea/coffee before decorating the church.  If you would like to join please telephone 01491 628376
