Mawnan: St Mawnan

The two Mawnan Churches, St Mawnan and St Michael, form a welcoming, friendly community serving the village of Mawnan Smith and surrounding hamlets. The whole Parish is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have thriving home Groups, Mothers Union, an after school club, and weekday informal services, as well as our services on Sundays.

The ancient Church of St Mawnan is on the headland where the Helford river meets the sea. it is accessible from the South West Coast Path and attracts many walkers and other visitors.

St Michael's Church in the village is much simpler, and has a special feeling of tranquility.

Both Churches are available for weddings, funerals and christenings.
