Ruscombe: St. James the Great

St James the Great, Ruscombe is a cosy 12th century grade 1 listed church.  We have a friendly regular congregation. The services are more traditional following common worship and with hymns accompanies by an organ.  We have communion most Sundays.  Services and take place at 9am.  The service last just under an hour and we have coffee afterwards.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Ruscombe & Twyford is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO, Claire Lawrence, at [email protected] or 07974 650 871, or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor at [email protected] or 01865 208 295. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
