Ash Wednesday service at Holy Trinity on Wednesday 18th February at 1pm.
You’re warmly invited to join us for this hour-long service marking the beginning of Lent.
During the service there will be Communion, prayer and the opportunity to receive the sign of the cross in ashes on your forehead (ashing) - a sign of repentance and turning again towards God.
Lent is the 40-day season leading up to Easter, reflecting Jesus’ 40 days in the wilderness fasting and praying before he began his public ministry. It’s traditionally a time when Christians pause to reflect, pray and prepare their hearts, seeking a fresh start with God.
All are welcome to share in this special moment in the church year.

Many people also choose to begin a spiritual practice during Lent, such as prayer, generosity, or giving something up, as a way of focusing more intentionally on their faith.

Holy Trinity, St Austell

Our vision is to search for God’s heart and share what we find. We are wholehearted in worship, in friendship, in mission and in love for our town.

On Sundays please join us for our Contemporary Services at 10.30 am and 7pm.

Refreshments will be served from 10.00am on Sunday mornings and we also provide groups for children and young people. We have a creche where a screen is available to watch the service.

On Thursdays we hold a reflective service at 11am. All are welcome.

The Gatherings are live streamed via YouTube so you can catch up later if you missed us.
