Sir John Betjeman CBE broadcast about the love he had for our church in 1948. We have opened a corner dedicated to his memory and the great benefit he has had on the church in the number of visitors that come on his recommendations. There are books about and by him and on Cornish history and geography that can be bought - the proceeds going to church funds.
We are delighted that The Betjeman Society awarded us a "highly commended" in the annual Society awards.
