A major construction contract is underway at St Mary's to repair the eastern boundary wall which collapsed in December 2019.  This has involved significant and sensitive works in the churchyard during which the church was closed to the public.  As the works are now accessed from the grounds of Glebe House we have been able to re-open the churchyard and church on a daily basis, although there may be some further short  temporary closures to ensure Health & Safety as the works progress.   The church car park is still being used as the Contractors' compound so parking is restricted to a single file on the left hand side of the road down from the farm.  Please do not drive over or park on the grass verges.
