Opening
Our normal church opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 3:00pm.
However, St Martin's Church is preparing for a major reordering, which is due to start in early February 2018 and will take four to five months. This will remove most of the pews from the nave, install underfloor heating, create a kitchen and a crèche area, upgrade our existing toilet and install a second one, and improve some of our other facilities. During this period the church will be closed to all visitors whilst the work is being undertaken.
In the meantime, all our services are being held in our church hall complex across the road (at the junction of Church Street, Church Street South, and Maddever Crescent).
Getting here
If you are traveling by car, St Martin's Church is next to the Plymouth Road. Coming from the eastern Liskeard exit on the A38 (by the Premier Inn / Liskeard Tavern), follow the town centre signs. Turn left into Church Street South about 100 yards past Golden bank Garden Centre. Parking is in the Church Centre (at the junction of Church Street, Church Street South, and Maddever Crescent) and there is additional parking below the main church hall, accessed by driving down the right hand side of the hall as you come into the top car park.
If you are approaching from Callington direction on the A390, go straight across the roundabout as you approach the outskirts of Liskeard towards the town centre. Continue across the next set of double mini roundabouts and keep going until you reach another roundabout at the beginning of the town centre. Turn left into Pound Street (signposted Plymouth) and follow the round around to the right into Castle Street. You will pass through a signal file section with traffic lights. Immediately after the single section you will pass the Elliot House hotel on your right and see the church, also to you right. Turn right her into Church Street North, and at the no-entry signs turn left into Church Street. The church centre for parking is on your right at the next junction.
If you are driving from the west, stay on the A38 past the western exit signposted Liskeard, and leave at the next exit then follow the instructions above.

If you are travelling by train, the church is a 15 minute walk from Liskeard Station (0.7 miles). Coming out of the station main exit, turn left and then right onto Station Road. Continue along Station Road, which becomes Barn Street. You will start to see the shops. Turn right at the fork with Baytree Hill and bear right past Boots (on your right) and down the steep hill. At the bottom, continue straight on into Cannon Hill (which is a steep climb up) and go up the stairs at the end. Turn right into Church Street and the church centre is on your right - the second building complex after the Smile Centre (dentists).
