St Mary’s is usually open for private prayer and reflection 11:00-14:30 each weekday.

The Parish Office is situated behind the left-hand choir stalls. Please telephone the office on 0115 958 2105 to check opening times if you are making a special journey. Open Mon-Fri 11am-2.30pm.

Join us for this contemplative service of evening prayer each Wednesday throughout the summer.

Our main Sunday morning worship is a Holy Communion service suitable for all-ages, featuring the Common Worship liturgy and the St Mary's Choir. We look forward to welcoming you.

If you enjoy exchanging ideas about the books you’ve read, or if you’d like to start, you’ll find a warm welcome over coffee at St Mary’s Book Group. We meet in the church at 11 am on the first Thursday of the month but there is no expectation that members attend every meeting. Books are chosen by the participants and authors have included Muriel Spark, Alan Sillitoe, Sidney Poitier, Daphne du Maurier, Abi Daré and Khaled Hosseini.

Celebrating the 200th anniversary of composer Anton Bruckner's birth, the Choir of St Mary's and the Concert Trombone Quartette will be performing a number of pieces for trombone and choir, including Bruckner's Requiem in D minor.
