During the current current COVID-19 situation, Wallingford parish is continuing to provide Sunday services: 8am in St Leonard's (BCP) and 10am in St Mary's (Common Worship), which is also available online, accessed on YouTube or on A Church Near You Service page.
St Mary's, in the Market Place, is open every Thursday and Saturday for private prayer between the hours of 10am and noon. All are welcome.
St Leonard's Church is the oldest church building in Wallingford, located near the River Thames. Regular worship follows the Book of Common Prayer for Holy Communion on Sunday mornings and sung Evensong on Sunday evenings. Come and share our life; open to God, open to all.
The parish of Wallingford is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services
