To mark Remembrance Sunday 2026, the choir will sing The Requiem by Fauré – Mass for the Dead. It is full of beautiful melodies and really dramatic contrasts but it has at its heart the idea of hope, light and peace .
A candle-lit service to mark the start of Advent
A peaceful, reflective service with Taizé chants
Our traditional Service of Lessons & Carols includes Bible readings, interspersed with the singing of Christmas Carols and choir music.
Christmas isn’t always a happy time. It can be a season where some feel lonely, sad, and under pressure. We may be missing a loved one, or struggling to make ends meet. We might be estranged from family, or feeling low due to poor health. Loss can visit us in many ways. This one-hour service of gentle music and reflective readings aims to bring comfort and hope to those who are feeling just like that.
