December 24th, Christmas Eve, Carol Service 6.30pm at St Peter’s

Prayer after service if you would like someone to pray with you after the 11.15am service, please come into the Chancel where you will be welcomed.

Visitors at 11.15am a group of Sixth Formers from Taverham High School will be in church after the 11.15am service today. They have organised a Foodbank collection involving each class at THS.

Bereavement service will be at St Ed’s at 3.00pm on Sunday 14th December, where we will light candles and read out the names of our loved ones. If you would like to join there is a sheet at the back of church for the names of loved ones to be read out in church.

Bibles for Junior School will soon be ordered. If you would like to donate for this there is an envelope in the vestry.

Christmas cards Sally Ellis has once again produced some beautiful Christmas cards featuring St Ed’s. Details at the back of church.

Brenda Aldred’s service will be at St Ed’s on Thursday 4th December at 11.30pm

Brian Smith’s service will be at St Ed’s on Wednesday 10th December at 1.00pm

Christmas Fair - Saturday 29th November 12 midday to 3pm. Please keep this day free so you can be part of the fun and consider helping too! for at least part of the time. There will be a sign-up sheet for this. Tombola, bottle, raffle prizes are needed and also toys, books and jigsaws. More information from Sue Elmes and Sue Beevor

St Ed’s needs…a new Treasurer, a Safeguarding officer, people to join the Thursday cleaning team, and someone to coordinate the shoebox appeal in September and October each year. Please pray that the Lord will call people for these roles. (could it be you?) Further details from the Churchwardens.
