Prayer for the week beginning Sunday 7th March 2021.

“O Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” Psalm 95:1-3

This week we will focus our prayer suggestions around the theme of gratitude. Take some time each day this week to pause and breath slowly. What are the blessings you have received from God today? Take some time each day to be intentional in giving thanks to God for all that is good.

As you take time to notice what is good, let your thanksgiving lead you into prayer, in the assurance that God is good and hears our prayers.

Some suggestions for prayer this week.

For all those unwell with COVID and unwell because of COVID.

For the schools as they go back.

For the poorer nations of the world and co-vax scheme.

For those struggling with poor mental health.

For the lonely and afraid.
