The Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2021 is 18th to 25th January. This will be reflected in our worship and our prayers during that week. Materials have been prepared by the churches of the Middle East, based on the Visit of the Wise men to the infant Jesus. “The Christians of the Middle East offer these resources conscious that the world shares many of the travails and much of the difficulties that it experiences, and yearns for a light to lead the way to the Saviour who is the light that overcomes darkness.” Further details on this link : https://ctbi.org.uk/week-of-prayer-for-christian-unity-2022/

Christingle Collection candles and envelopes to support the work of the Children’s Society can be returned to St Ed’s up to Sunday 30th January 2022 (Candlemas).

Our worship We began our new pattern of worship at the beginning of July 2021, and we have received many very positive and favourable comments. At our next PCC meeting (17th January) we will review our worship. If you have any comments, particularly on how you are finding the spiritual quality and depth of our worship, please let Rev Paul or other members of the team have them. The most important question is, ‘How is our worship enabling us to grow in our faith in Jesus, and how could we deepen our faith, worship and witness to our community together’?

Art Group resumes this week (on Friday14th January) at Trinity Church Thorpe Marriott.
