Christingle Services

At St Edmund’s we are holding three Christingle services on Christmas Eve (Tuesday 24th Dec)

At 3.30pm and 5pm there will be singing with the Christingles.

At 6.30 there is a Contemplative (quiet) Christingle service.

The celebration is named after the Christingles that are lit during the service. Christingles are made from an orange decorated with red tape, sweets and a candle - come along to hear what each part symbolises.

All proceeds from these services will go to The Children’s Society and support its work helping vulnerable young people. (Also note the  image on this item is from The Children Society website)

All the family will enjoy this feast of candles and oranges as part of their preparation for Christmas.
