Thy Kingdom Come

Occurring
Every day at for 30 mins
Venue
St John the Baptist
Address
Churchway Stone Aylesbury, HP17 8RG, United Kingdom

SJB Stone will be open each evening at 7:00pm this week until
Saturday for people to gather together for prayer for half an hour. Everyone is
welcome to come along.
We pray for a wide range of issues, some are local, some global, and some personal.
You may prefer to sit in quiet reflection as others pray. You are welcome to do just
that because there is no pressure to say anything out loud. All our prayers are
valued because prayer is about building a relationship with our Heavenly Father,
not trying to impress other people.
We have literally invited the whole world to come and pray with
us at our prayer evenings. The TKC website lists events all around
the world that are happening this week and there is a light
flashing on the world map over SJB Stone. So if someone flies in
from the Far East to join us one evening let’s make them
welcome!
We still have a few prayer booklets available in church. These include prayers
written by members of our church. Some of these have gone out beyond our parish
so it is lovely to know that others are praying with us too.

Safeguarding

The parish of Stone, Dinton & Hartwell is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Oxford’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

Our safeguarding page is available here: www.stonedintonhartwell.com/safeguarding/
