Our Children start off in the Church Hall in 'Sundayz Cool' and join us in Church toward the end of the service to share what they have been learning on their faith journey.

Join us for the Churches Together Remembrance service at St Nicholas Church, Bawtry followed by the Act of Remembrance at the war memorial in Bawtry (outside the library).
There will be an opportunity for children to join our Sunday School to make a wreath to lay at the war memorial as part of the ceremony.
If you are looking for a traditional BCP Evensong, then look no further! Everyone welcome to join us.
Everyone welcome to come along to the Church Hall for food and friendship. During winter months we serve soup and there are always hot drinks and a selection of sweet treats available. You can swap books and puzzles or just come for a natter.

The River Idle Benefice proudly presents our baby n Toddler groups "Little Lambs". We currently run in Bawtry on a Tuesday 09:30 - 11:30 in the church hall and Everton Village hall on a Friday 09:30 - 11:30. Parents, Carers, Grand Parents are all invited to our safe, comfortable sessions.
All the leaders are DBS checked, at each group we offer snacks and refreshments to everyone. We are a church of England led group who hold tight to our Christian beliefs. We share a bible story and songs in each session.

Come and join us in the Church Hall on Tuesdays each month and bring your current crafting project or join in when you get here! Drinks and refreshments are served.

Come and join us for a Christingle service — a joyful, family-friendly celebration filled with light, music, and meaning. You'll receive a Christingle - an orange decorated with a candle, ribbon, and sweets — as we discover the story of God’s love and the hope Jesus brings into the world. It’s a warm and welcoming event for all ages, and a wonderful way to share the light of Christmas as a family as we raise money for The Children's Society.

You are invited to our Benefice nativity on the 21st December 2025 from 9:30am at St Nicholas Church Bawtry Dressing up in Nativity costumes is encouraged, but don't worry if you don't have one, we have quite a few available on the day! Everyone will be able to participate in this heart warming and fun way to remember the events surrounding the birth of Jesus.
St Nicholas and Bawtry Methodist Church host the Bawtry Town Council Carols on the Market Square Bawtry. Wrap up warm and gather your family and friends from at 4pm as our community comes together to sing some classic Christmas carols. Everyone welcome!
