Sunday 3rd February we'll keep as Candlemas, when we remember the time when Joseph and Mary brought the baby Jesus (now just 40 days old) to the temple to present him before God.   And in our South Aisle we have a rather beautiful stained glass window which reminds us of the special moment when Joseph and Mary met Simeon, the wise old man who recognised in this ordinary-looking little one the light of Christ.   Please click on the link to download a brief article which talks about this lovely window and what it signifies.
