We meet every Thursday at 6.30pm in the Lady Chapel to say the Rosary together. But not just any Rosary! You might, if you are able to join us, find out that at St James the Great, Haydock, we do things a bit differently. We have developed what we call "A Scripture Rosary". We take the traditional prayer "Hail Mary ..." but instead of just repeating this (as many do), whoever is leading reads before each "Hail Mary ... " a brief verse of Scripture concerning the life of Christ as seen through Mary's eyes, to help our meditation. The focus is very much on Jesus, as his mum would wish! If you'd like to come, you'd be very welcome.

The Rosary is followed by Mass.

Come if you can, to enjoy a peaceful 3/4 hour of Scriptural and Sacramental meditation.
