St Luke's Wolverhampton

A Bible-based Anglican parish church where all are welcome, as we learn to be faithful followers of the Lord Jesus Christ together.

The parish of Wolverhampton St Luke is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Lichfield’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

We meet in St. Luke’s Primary School, Park Street South (WV2 3AE) at 11am every Sunday morning.

In our services we aim to cater for people of all ages and stages of Christian faith and understanding. We also welcome anyone who just wants to find out more about Christianity.

We sing a mixture of traditional and modern hymns/songs, listen to a sermon which is often part of series on a particular book of the Bible, and pray for people in the church and the world. Once a month we share in the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) together.

Our groups for children (aged 4+ who have started school) and young people usually meet on the middle 2 or 3 Sundays of the month during term time. A creche area is available for parents to use with children under 4.

Over refreshments served afterwards you’ll be able to meet other people and find out more about church life.
