Opening churches for private prayer

Following the government announcement that we can consider opening church buildings for private prayer, we have spent time looking at risk assessments for our buildings, and the measures that we need to put in place around social distancing and cleaning. I’m pleased to be able to confirm that we will be able to open Belaugh for this purpose.

For some this will be a welcome return to a sacred space and we hope you find it helpful.

For some this will be something which brings more fear than joy. Please don’t feel under any obligation to attend until you feel ready.

For some who are still limited in their movements this may bring sadness that they can’t yet attend. Please be patient, and stay safe.

My thanks to those who have helped to get the church ready.

Thanks all. If you have any questions, please just ask.
