It's a 5th Sunday but also PALM SUNDAY (29th March) - the Beginning of Holy Week

Occurring
for 1 hour, 15 mins
Venue
Collingham: St Oswald's Church
Address
Church Lane Collingham Wetherby, LS22 5AU, United Kingdom

Meet, if you can, outside the Memorial Hall at 9.50am with a branch from your garden to wave and you will be given a Palm Cross and we will process through the Orchard Garden and Glebe Field over to Church (others meet as usual in church) as we remember Jesus riding into Jerusalem. In Church we will hear the Passion Gospel - read by voices of All Ages and put some symbolic items at and around the Cross as we remember the last week of Jesus' life. We will also be welcoming little Wilfred on his Christian journey as he is baptised and share in the joys of Holy Communion together. A special and holy start to a special and holy week.

"The Parish is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA or PSO - see Safeguarding among the tabs to the left of your screen, to be taken to a page which has further details. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
