The benefice is made up of 4 churches in Kirklington, Burneston, Wath and Pickhill and covering the surrounding villages. Our Rector is Revd James Gwyn-Thomas who lives in Kirklington but ministers and takes services in all four churches.

Everyone is welcome to come along to our services held at 9.30am on the second Sunday in the month and 11.00am on the fourth Sunday. The 9.30 service is a Service of the Word and the 11.00 service is holy communion. People are invited to come to church from 10.30 for the communion service and have coffee and chat. Coffee and cake is served after the 9.30 service. can't wait to see you.

St Mary's is the parish church for Wath, Melmerby and Middleton Quernhow. The church is open every day and you are welcome to visit it at any time. We would love to see you at any of our services if you are able to join us. These are generally an 11.00 Communion service on the second Sunday of the month and a 9.30 All Age service on the fourth Sunday. St Mary's is part of the Hallikeld benefice (group of churches) and services are also held at Kirklington, Burneston and Pickhill.
