Compline Community gathers on Thursday evenings for a gentle, reflective space shaped by prayer, stillness, and conversation. We alternate each week between:

Candlelit Compline — a peaceful, contemplative service drawn from ancient night prayers

Book and Faith Conversations — informal evenings where we explore a thought-provoking book and reflect on how faith meets everyday life

We meet in homes across Northstowe and Over, sharing quiet, laughter, and deep listening. All are welcome — come as you are, and take part as much or as little as you like.

There's no gathering in Northstowe over the August bank holiday weekend. Several of us will be at the Greenbelt Festival celebrating Artistry, Activism, and Belief (why not join us for the day on Sunday, even if not the whole weekend!)

Over the school summer holidays, we pause our usual Sunday service and Little Explorers session, and come together for Summer Sunday Breakfasts — a relaxed, all-age space of food, friendship, and faith.

We meet in the garden at The Pathfinder School to share breakfast (yes, including chocolate waffles!), explore a theme through story and conversation, and enjoy a range of creative zones for prayer, play, reflection, and craft.

It’s church shaped for summer — welcoming for all ages, whether you're part of Pathfinder Church, a Little Explorers family, visiting Northstowe, or just curious to see what we're about.

Please note: we’ll be offsite on 17 & 24 August (including at Greenbelt Festival!) — back again on 31 August.

"Time for you, your child, and God"

Little Explorers is part of the Northstowe Church Network, gathering parents and carers with their little ones for a midweek encounter with God and others in a similar phase of life. We start with breakfast from 9.15, with circle time at 9.45, finishing at 10.45

A welcoming space for all ages, to be met wherever you are, however you are feeling. A church full of opportunities to chat and chew over Bible passages—or simply listen and reflect. A place to dance during worship, create during reflection, or find quiet space to pause. A chance to uncover parts of a faith journey you didn’t know you needed.
