St Peter's Church Croft

St Peter’s is a warm, welcoming family church at the heart of Croft on Tees, offering space for worship, prayer, and community for all who come through its doors.

The church is also a Grade I Listed Building with a rich history. Situated beside the River Tees, Croft was the childhood home of Lewis Carroll, and many of the church's unique features are thought to have inspired elements of Alice in Wonderland. Whether you come to join us for a service or to explore the building’s remarkable story, you will find a place of beauty, peace, and hospitality.
