About Us

We are the parish church in a village of about 1,000 souls in the Vale of Belvoir. We hold a church service every Sunday, see our website (clawson.uk) for details. We have in the last decade installed 3 wonderful stained glass windows, a new stone floor with heating under it, so we can make and encourage much more use of the church.

The benefice system having collapsed, and Leicester's Minster Community idea being not to our liking, we are back to being an independent parish, but we share initiatives and ministry with neighbouring parishes of Old Dalby, Nether Broughton, Hose, Harby and Stathern. We've tried to edit the "related churches" info on this website to reflect the collapse of the benefice system about 20 years ago, but cannot select which churches we do actually work with!
