The village is situated on the A47 road, which connects Leicester to Peterborough. Great Easton is a picturesque village with a population of around 500 people. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside and is a popular destination for walkers and cyclists.
Great Easton has a rich history dating back to the 11th century. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and was known as Estone. The village was later renamed Great Easton to distinguish it from the nearby village of Little Easton. St Andrew's Church dates back to the 13th century and is the oldest building in the village. It is built out of ironstone as are a number of other buildings. Great Easton has a number of historic buildings including the Old Rectory, which is a Grade II listed building.
Great Easton has a number of local amenities including a village hall, a pub, a post office and a primary school sits on the border of our village with Bringhurst. Great Easton is a charming village with a rich history and a strong sense of community. Do come and visit us!

The village is known for its beautiful stone cottages, which are a testament to the village's long history.
St. Giles Church is a notable feature in the village and dates back to the 13th century. The church is a Grade II listed building and is known for its beautiful stained glass windows and intricate stonework. Unusually it has 2 fonts. The churchyard is also home to a number of historic graves, including the grave of a local hero who fought in the Battle of Waterloo.

The village is located close to a number of popular walking trails, including the Leicestershire Round and the Macmillan Way. An important event in our calendar is the Blaston and District Agricultural Show which is held each year on the last Sunday in June.

The village is situated on the eastern side of the county, close to the border with Rutland. The village is surrounded by beautiful countryside, with rolling hills and fields of crops.
Stockerston has a rich history, with evidence of human habitation dating back to the Bronze Age. The village was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, and has been inhabited ever since. St. Peter's Church is a Grade I listed building, and is situated on the north side of Church Lane, close to Stockerston Hall. The present structure was largely built in the 13th to 15th centuries.
