The Friends of St Augustine’s (FOStA) has been set up as a charity to raise funds to contribute to the maintenance of the church fabric, with the long term aim of creating a warm and welcoming community space for all villagers and a variety of uses.
So far, FOStA has contributed £800 towards new lighting in the church. It is now aiming to raise £2,000 towards restoration and repair work on the stained glass windows. The next fundraising events will be:
10 May - music evening with local band Palmerston at the Village Hall on Friday. 15 June - Safari Supper round the village, starting at the church.FOStA thanks everyone who has supported us and contributed so far.
