Sunday 2nd August 2026
This Sunday is the Ninth Sunday after Trinity, and our Gospel brings us one of the best-known scenes in the Bible: a large crowd, a very small amount of food, and disciples who have clearly not brought enough sandwiches.
Revd Mark will be exploring this familiar story from Matthew 14—and showing why there may be rather more going on than first appears. It is a story full of contrast, surprise and the wonderfully generous way Jesus deals with people.
Come and join us this Sunday for worship, Holy Communion and time together. And do bring a friend, neighbour or member of the family. They do not need to know the service, understand everything, or arrive with five loaves and two fish. They are simply welcome.
Every blessing, Rev'd Mark
