Sunday 27th September 2026

This Sunday, the Seventeenth Sunday after Trinity, we are delighted to welcome Revd Richard Bainbridge, a dear friend from St. John and St. Stephen’s, to lead and preach at St. John’s.

Richard’s church has recently received a Gold Eco Church Award, recognising the way care for creation has become part of the life, worship and witness of their church community. As we come to the end of a month in which we have been thinking particularly about creation care, Richard will help us draw some of those threads together and consider how our faith shapes the way we inhabit and care for God’s world.

It will be lovely to welcome Richard among us, and a good Sunday to invite someone along — especially anyone with an interest in creation, the environment, or simply what Christian faith might have to say about the world we share.

Do come and join us for worship, Holy Communion and fellowship together. Everyone is very welcome.

Every blessing,

Revd. Mark
