Sunday 12th July 2026

This Sunday is the Sixth Sunday after Trinity, and Revd Richard will be taking the service as we look together at Romans 8:1–11.

St Paul begins with one of the most comforting sentences in the whole Bible: “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” That is good news for all of us who know what it is to carry regrets, replay conversations, worry we have not done enough, or feel we are not quite the Christian we ought to be.

The Church’s green season after Trinity is a good time to remember that Christian growth is usually slow and ordinary. It happens in prayers mumbled before breakfast, in patience offered when we would rather snap, in showing up to worship when we feel tired, and in learning again that God is kinder than our fears.

So do come along this Sunday. Bring a friend, neighbour, or family member with you. Church is not a gathering for those who have life neatly sorted, but for those who are learning to live by the Spirit of Christ, one small act of trust at a time.

Every blessing.

Revd. Mark
