The Aldridge Running Festival takes place on the morning of Sunday 11th June 2023. This will mean the closure of the A454 Walsall Road from the Portland Road junction (the far side of the railway bridge & road works) to the White House traffic lights from around 10:30 am until the runners in the 10K event have passed. The Running Club have arranged diversions with the authorities around the village centre and we understand that the Parish Church morning services are cancelled due to lack of access.Tynings Lane Church is open and the service starts at 10:30, so please allow extra time if you normally travel via the village or cross the Walsall Road. Visitors will be most welcome. As usual, you may use the Aldridge School car park, Tynings Lane entrance.
