We are holding our Annual Parish Meeting (APCM) on Sunday 14th May after our 10.30am United Parish Service at St Leonard's Church. Our Annual Report provides an insight in to the life of our parish in 2022, celebrating the many different activities that take place. It also contains our Financial Statements for 2022. Please do read this, and if you are coming to the Annual Meeting, please bring your comments or questions with you, or message us with them beforehand
It was announced in all our churches this morning (Sunday 8th January) that we are going to have a new Team Vicar! The Revd Scott Edwards has been appointed and will be licensed here in the parish on Wednesday 29th March at 7.00pm by Bishop Michael.Revd Scott will work with our Team Rector Revd Jo across all four churches in the parish, and we look forward to benefitting from the experience that he brings from his previous parish ministry. Revd Scott is currently the vicar of St Mary’s Church in Chessington, Surrey, in the Diocese of Guildford and will be moving here to Telford with his wife Judy after his last Sunday in his current parish – which will be 12th March.Please do pray for Scott as he prepares for his new ministry; for him and Judy as they get ready to move to their new vicarage on Bartholomew Road in Lawley; and for his congregation at St Mary’s, Chessington as they hear the news this morning that they will be going into a vacancy in mid-March.
