Getting here

Our church is set in the heart of a small market town in the Vale of the White Horse. The building dates from the thirteenth century, and has experienced an exciting history which includes the destruction of the spire during the Civil War.

The Simeons Trust has been patron since the 1840s. We are the only Anglican church and the parish comprises the entire town.
There is a strong ecumenical tradition in Faringdon. Together the united churches run a thriving Family Centre and Fair Trade and Christian bookshop. We also share services and run a joint Holiday Bible Club (The Wave) each summer. We have a link mission partner in South Sudan.

Our services are marked by diversity of style, ranging from lay-led open prayer to BCP communion.

The Reverend Maria Jukes became our vicar on 23 May 2023.

The church administrator, Alison Scott works Monday to Thursday from 09.00 - 13.00 and can be contacted on [email protected] or on 01367 244 901.
