Morning Worship

Occuring
Every Second, Fourth, Fifth Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue
All Saints'
Address
Church Street Faringdon Oxfordshire, SN7 8AD, United Kingdom

This is attended by most church members and is also the most accessible for newcomers. Most music is led by musicians and singers and some is recorded, with a mixture of hymns and more contemporary songs (all projected onto screens). After the first part of the service during term-time (except on the 1st Sunday of the month), primary school-aged children are invited to enjoy their ‘Junior Saints’. There is a crêche area for parents to use with 0-3s. Coffee, tea and biscuits are served in the adjoining Barber Rooms following each service.

The 10.30am service follows a monthly pattern:

1st Sunday of the month we have ‘Saints Alive’- an All Age service for the whole church family, lasting 45 minutes to an hour. Occasionally there will be a baptism at this service.

2nd and 4th Sundays of the month includes Holy Communion, which all Christians are welcome to receive. Prayer ministry is available to individuals after communion.

3rd Sunday of the month is a Morning Prayer service which includes occasional interviews and information spots.

5th Sunday of the month is a Morning Prayer service which often includes baptisms.

Safeguarding

All Saints’ is a Safeguarding Church. We commit ourselves to nurture, protect and safeguard all those in our church family, particularly under 18s and vulnerable adults. We recognise that Safeguarding is the responsibility of the whole church. If a child or adult is in immediate danger or requires immediate medical attention, call the emergency services on 999. If there are concerns about their immediate welfare, call MASH on 0345 050 7666 or 0800 833408 (out of hours). Otherwise, raise any concerns with our safeguarding officer Isobel Weller.
