We are delighted to announce that the Bishop has appointed the Revd Lucinda Wray-Wear as the new Associate Minister of Fulford-in-Stone and Hiiderstone. Lucinda has just completed her curacy in the Benefice of Prees, Edstaston and Whixall in North Shropshire. She is a self-supporting minister and so has a full time job as PA to the Archdeacon of Stoke-upon-Trent. This means she will exercise her role in a different way to that of previous clergy but she and the wardens are excited to see how we can work on new patterns of ministry and mission together. The Licensing of Lucinda is to take place at Christ Church Hilderstone on Monday 9th October 2023. We look forward to welcoming her into our Christian community and ask that you pray for Lucinda as she prepares to come to the benefice. All in our community are warmly invited to join us for this joyeous occasion. Disabled parking is available in the church car park; all other vehicles to park in the Village Hall. The service is followed by a Reception at Hilderstone Village Hall for all.
