Visitors are invited to take a tour of the village using a Scarecrow map, to see the many and varied scarecrows adorning their front lawns, village green and church. From the humorous to the traditional, the event is a must-see village-wide celebration. Refreshments are on offer in the church, 1-4pm on Saturday and 2-4pm on Sunday, with the winners of the Scarecrow Competition announced at 4pm when the Rev'd Lucinda Wray-Wear will bless the scarecrows. There will also be a family scarecrow-themed service on Sunday 14th at 11.15am. All are welcome to join in the fun. Proceeds go towards the Access for All project at Christ Church Hilderstone.
