The village of Hilderstone celebrates the humble scarecrow, with a lovely collection of straw friends to be found around the village and Christ Church. The weekend culminates in a family Scarecrow service.
A popular festive celebration with families in our community, the Hilderstone Youth Club has helped prepare the Christingle oranges for you all. Please do come along and join us at this special service.

This beautiful Georgian church is replendent with an array of twinkling Christmas Trees as we begin our journey of celebratoin for Advent. Each tree is adorned with tree decorations by the sponsors and all are welcome to come and enjoy the wonderful sight. This year we will also feature Nativity Scenes from around the world.
Running over two days, this spectacular festival truly celebrates this special time of year, and the church is adorned with Christmas Trees resplendent in their lovely decorations. As you would expect, this lovely family service is popular with young and old alike. With plenty of interaction for the children, alongside our traditional carols and readings, this service will, this year, be lead by Bishop Matthew of Stafford. Please do come and join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Celebrating community, Christ Church Hilderstone, with the Village Hall and all the groups affiliated with them, come together in a day of fun activities for all ages. Christ Church Hilderstone will open its doors to welcome visitors from 1pm on Saturday 29th July.
We are holding our annual Harvest Supper and Auction on Monday 18th September, at Hilderstone Village Hall, from 7pm. This popular celebration sees people throughout the community come together to enjoy a meal together. The event culminates in our auctioning of the produce presented at the Harvest Festival, with all donations going to charity. As always, this is a ticketed event and details for booking tickets will follow in due course.
The Licensing of the new Associate Minister, Rev'd Lucinda Wray-Wear, alongside her Mentor, Rev'd Stewart Jones, will take place at Christ Church HIlderstone on Monday 9th October 2023 at 7pm. This celebration will be followed by a Reception at Hilderstone Village Hall from approximately 8.15pm. All are welcome.
