Accessibility

As God loves you as you are, St Mary's welcomes you just the same!

The church is up a steepish path with gravel surface. There are a few spaces near the church hall which require a 40 meter walk to the church over the gravel path which is a challenge for a wheel chair. however it would be possible to drop off a wheelchair user by the door before parking.

The entrance into St Mary's church itself is flat. There is a step in the nave to get to the High Altar.

Hearing loop

Some parking by the church. for special services we use the side of the road down to Sawmill Cottages. For normal Sundays we use the road by the church.

Large print versions of our bulletins and orders of service are available. Please ask our welcome team who will be more than happy to help you.


Our Building

Our building is Grade II* listed - list entry number 1038486.
It was first listed on 26 March 1986

We have a number of stained glass windows in the church.

Toilets are located in the Church Hall - a short (40m) walk from the church.


Music and Worship

There are three bells which are normally chimed before services.

Our organ is used for most services, however recorded tracks are sometimes used.

After the service coffee is always served and for benefice and special services we serve delicious cakes.

Other Features

Foodbank donations can be left by the font. These are regularly taken through to support the work of the Burton YMCA Foodbank.

St Mary's Dunstall is located in the National Forest, with idyllic walks around the area.
