Parish Records and Family History

Recent records of baptisms, marriages and burials are maintained in the parish. We are only able to supply copy baptism certificates.

The Archive Service also provide a helpful information and can be found here

Many of these records can be accessed at findmypast. Although this is a subscription service, it is free to use in Staffordshire Libraries and at the Staffordshire Records Office. The Record Office advises that you don't search on the home page but instead find the Staffordshire Collection first by selecting All Record Sets which is under Quick Links lower down the home page, then type Staffordshire into the search box. When you carry out a search for an ancestor and get a list of search results, the camera icon on the extreme right allows you to open the actual image. Staffordshire Record Office can supply copies of certificates if required.
