Hopton and District Garden Guild

Elaine and Julia, who call themselves ‘The Potty Plotters’, have a keen and knowledgeable interest in growing many varieties of vegetables in a garden plot. The ladies have a great sense of humour and related many stories and tips including how to grow and utilize loofahs!

At the next meeting on the 2nd June we will welcome Catherine Baxter telling us all about the History of Harper Adams College. Our AGM will be on the 7th July - light refreshments will be provided.

Membership of the guild renews in September and is only £15-00 per year.

We are pleased to encourage visitors (£2-50) to our monthly meetings, where you will be made welcome and be entertained by speakers covering a wide variety of interests. We have a light hearted competition each meeting for flowers or craft. Tea, coffee and biscuits are included, followed by a raffle to round off the evening. We meet on the first Tuesday each month at 7-30pm in Hopton village hall. For information please contact Jill Buss on:  01785 - 259808 or look out for our yellow monthly newsletter on local village notice boards.
