Our vacancy for a new priest in charge was advertised on the 17th April for 3 weeks.
Unfortunately we failed to get any applicants for this position.
We are asking that you pray God guides the right person to us to lead and support us on our journey in developing this Benefice.
Please pray:
- that God shows us the way forward by attracting a new priest.
- that God helps us to continue to build a vision of One Church Family across our many Parishes.
- for our Benefice, our individual churches, PCCs and the Team Council.
- that we embrace the journey he has mapped out for us and our Benefice.

12th July Praise Together Holy Communion at 10-00am, St. John the Baptist Church, Stowe by Chartley, led by Rev'd Vivienne Starkie and Andy Cooper.
19th July Holy Communion at 11-15am, St. James the Great Church, Salt, led by Rev'd Vivienne Starkie.
26th July Morning Praise at 9-30am, led by Andy Cooper.

Most of our churches have services based on Common Worship which aims to facilitate meaningful worship experiences for congregations, incorporating contemporary language and inclusive practices to engage modern worshipers.

We try to make our church services as friendly as possible. Please don’t worry about getting things ‘wrong’. Even if they notice, people won’t mind. At Communion services, everyone is equally welcome, whether you feel able to share the bread and wine or prefer just to stay seated for a time of quiet. Finally, we are interested in you, not what you are wearing.
