About Us

 About Us:

Our large and beautiful church has a long history, dating back to the legendary St. Bertelin in the 8th Century. The building which you see today was commenced almost exactly 800 years ago and it is the second oldest building in Stafford. The roof is about 500 years old. This church was one of the first churches restored by Gilbert Scott in the 19th Century.

You are warmly invited to visit us, either at one of our services (details below) or to come in during the week (11 a.m. to 1p.m. most Wednesdays and Thursdays) when the church is kept open by volunteer stewards.
