Join us on Saturday 4th May for our Church Eco / Wildlife Day at Gayton Church and Village Hall.

Gayton Church Eco-Day: There will be lots of fun during the day.

Learning about nature: how we can help it to thrive and the importance of Church yards in achieving this.

A moth trap will be set the evening before and the following morning we will look at the moths we have (hopefully) caught, before releasing them safely!

Eco-crafts, seed bomb making and delicious refreshments throughout the day. There will be led bug hunts and bee walks for £2.00 per person with activity packs for the children. Lisa Fairy will be face-painting (£4.00) and Trish and Fiona will be selling beautiful Bee friendly plants for your Garden.

The Bar will be open too!

Come and share the day with us and let’s see what wonderful creatures, great and small, we share our village with and help support our historic church too. And finally… we will finish with a Bat Walk using our bat detectors; meet at 8.30pm at the village hall, £3-00 per person.
