Church of England Diocese of Oxford Summertown

About Us

Welcome to St Michael and All Angels in Summertown. We are the Anglican Parish Church for the Summertown district of north Oxford.  Our regular Sunday services, at 8am, 10am and 6.30pm are taking place with all the required Covid precautions and there is no need to book.  The 10.00am Parish Eucharist is also live streamed on our Facebook page  and later in the day on our You Tube channel

In more normal times ...

At a time when many people, in the wake of terrorism, war and natural disasters, are asking questions about the meaning of life, we would warmly welcome you to join us for worship at St Michael’s, to find space for reflection and prayer, and together to consider the issues, personal and public, that face us today. We are an inclusive church in the liberal catholic tradition and welcome people of all ages from all walks of life. We strive to make our worship relevant, challenging and dignified, and to reflect God’s love for our world. Children are very much part of our church life and are welcome at all services. Do join us one Sunday!

Located north of the university-dominated city centre, St Michael’s is situated in Lonsdale Road (off the Banbury Road, opposite the Radio Oxford building).
