Facilities and features

Accessibility

We have toilets in the Church Hall (not in the Church), including facilities for the disabled. The Hall is beside the Church and may be locked even if the Church is open, in which case please ask for access to the Hall as necessary.

Baby changing facilities are in the Church Hall, next door to the Church.

We have parking spaces next to the church, including one space designated for the disabled. Parking is also possible along the Church drive, and there is roadside parking along Selby Road.

This can be found in the Church Hall which is right next to the Church.

Autism or Asperger Aware / Accessible

We have one designated parking space for the disabled, which is next to the side entrance to the Church and very close to the ramp to the main entrance.

We have a ramp for wheel chairs, prams and buggies, leading to the main entrance. Once you reach the main entrance, the Church is mainly level, although there is a step at the altar, and three steps to Lady Chapel.

Hearing (induction) Loop

Everything you need for our services is on screens in church at the moment (to be Covid-secure). If you need more help, please ask!

Assistance dogs are welcome!

We are aware of the needs of dementia sufferers and welcome both them and their carers.

Our Building

We are a Grade II* listed building, in the Arts and Crafts tradition

Music and Worship

We have an organ and a piano: each is used as appropriate, depending on the type of service and the use of the building.

Help for Visitors

We have notes and postcards available in the Southcote Porch at the main entrance.

The church can be opened by arrangement, if you wish to visit us: over the pandemic we have decided not to open outside service times to help keep everyone safe. Please use the contact us page if you would like to visit our Church.

Other Features

We have a Food Bank, operating from our Church Hall on Wednsedays. It started delivering food during the lockdowns, and has now reverted to allowing people to come to us instead of having deliveries.

All you need to join in our services is displayed on screens.

Our Church hall has begun to reopen for hire after the pandemic. Please contact us for details.
